Don’t stop believin’! Now is your chance to see three of the biggest bands in the world! Journey, The Doobie Brothers, and The Who will be playing two separate packed shows in California this May—so get your tickets now before it’s too late.
We all know that summer is concert season in California. This year Californians can see Rhianna’s Anti World Tour, Janet Jackson’s Unbreakable Tour, Justin Bieber, Metallica, Coldplay, and many more. But these great classic acts are coming to your town before the heat breaks.
Journey & The Doobie Brothers
Journey is one of the most iconic pop music bands in the world. Their songs “Don’t Stop Believin’”, and “Anyway You Want It” have literally become woven into the pop culture fabric of America, featured in movie and television productions for decades. They’ve even recently enjoyed resurgence on shows like American Idol and Glee. While the band has undergone some (major) changes since its formation, it’s still on the road and producing iconic music for future generations.
And this spring concert season Journey is touring with The Doobie Brothers! This classic rock band has been providing music for the American soundtrack since the 1970s including internationally renowned hits like “Listen to the Music,” “Black Water,” “Takin’ It to the Streets,” and “China Grove.”
Journey will be playing in Irvine Meadows in May this year with special guests The Doobie Brothers. The show starts at 7PM and you should be there.
The Who
Part of the real British Invasion, The Who has been rocking crowds since the mid-1960s. Their signature raw sound combined with lead man Roger Daltrey’s goofy good looks made the band a near-overnight success. Their hits “Pinball Wizard,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” and “My Generation” really set the tone for post-Beetles America. After a few years apart the Who came back together and hit the road, rocking stadiums from Hyde Park to Glastonbury and releasing new albums including their 50th Anniversary compilation.
The Who have played sold out shows in iconic venues like Woodstock, The Isle of Wight Festival, and The Philadelphia Spectrum. Now they’re coming to the Staples Center in LA for one night only: May 25th, 2016. Whether you remember their original 1960’s rebellion or became a fan after their reunion this is your chance the experience one of the most influential bands of the past 50 years live.
